Indian Blood Peach Tree (Prunus Persica ‘Indian Blood Cling Peach’)

The Indian Blood peach produces abundant crops of large golden yellow fruit with a red blush. The flesh can bicolored red and yellow or red purple. You can harvest the fruit between June and September depending on climate. Excellent for eating fresh, canning, and pickling.

Sunlight: Full sun minimum 6 hrs per day.

Soil: Well-drained slightly acidic loamy or sandy soil with a pH level of 6.0 to 7.0.

Water: Water weekly until established. Water established trees deeply as needed.

Fertilizer: Apply a nitrogen-based fertilizer in the spring.

The Indian Blood peach tree is an antique variety of peach. Blooming in mid-spring with fragrant pink flowers you will harvest abundant crops of large golden yellow fruit with a red blush. The flesh can bicolored red and yellow or red purple. You can harvest the fruit between June and September depending on climate. Excellent for eating fresh, canning, and pickling.

Plant in full sun and well-drained loamy or sandy soil. The Indian Blood peach is a self-pollinating variety but will produce higher yields if more than one tree is planted.  Average height 15′ – 30′ and width 15′ – 30′. Required Chill Hours: 750 to 900. USDA hardiness zones 4-8.
