The Stella cherry tree will burst with vibrant white blossoms in spring. Stella cherries have a sweet, juicy flavor and a firm texture. Your bounty of sweet summer cherries is perfect for snacking, baking, or preserving.

Sun: Full Sun

Soil: Loamy well-drained soil with a pH between 6 and 7.

Water: Water weekly until established. Water established trees deeply as needed. You may need to water more often in times of extreme heat or drought.

Pruning: During its dormant season remove any dead or diseased branches.

The Stella cherry tree will burst with vibrant white blossoms in spring. These flowers will develop into deep red, heart-shaped cherries, about 1 inch in diameter. The cherries are ready to be harvested in June-July. Stella cherries have a sweet, juicy flavor and a firm texture. Your bounty of sweet summer cherries is perfect for snacking, baking, or preserving.

Plant in full sun and in well-drained sun. The Stella Cherry tree is partially self-pollinating. We recommend planting a pollinating partner nearby to increase fruit production. Some suggested pollinating partners include Montmorency, Lapins, Rainier, Bing and Balck Tartarian.  Average height 15′ – 20′ and width 12′-15′. Required Chill Hours: 400. USDA Hardiness Zones 5-8.
